EVERY DAY MAY
I participated in a painting challenge, where I shared reels on instagram, of my painting process and things that inspired me to paint and show up in the studio everyday.
The goal was to play, learn and embrace the little things that made me happy.
I created 27 small paintings on watercolour paper and handmade paper made from 100% recycled materials. Paper that my husband and I made during the thick of the pandemic. Through these studies, I learned a lot about techniques I want to improve on and finesse for future series. The greatest part about the challenge were the 12 paintings that came out of it.
I love how each one turned out. There's something really organic and natural about them. They make me think and dream, and I hope that you connect to them the way I have. These are paintings I will never be able to replicate again and that's really special.
I know they will brighten up any space and I can't wait to see them in your home where they belong.
