Ethel Voronkova is an Ontario-based contemporary artist. Born in the Philippines, she moved to Canada with her family when she was nine years old. Her stylized abstract paintings, comprised of bold forms, layered colours and interconnected strips of paint, are the studies of her observations and reflections on life. Aiming to capture the struggles and strengths while admiring the beauty all around.
Ethel works and lives in Ontario. She studied Fine Art at Centennial College and studied Design Foundation as well as Graphic Design at Humber College. She has shown her work all over Ontario, including exhibits at Arta Gallery, Twist Gallery, juried show at the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair, and a solo show at Hamilton City Hall. Her works are in private collections all over Ontario and rented by corporate businesses in Toronto.
