SOJOURN Pt.1
Sojourn is a personal collection of phantom landscapes that reflect my own inner wanderings—through memory, through imagination, through time. The word sojourn means a temporary stay, a pause in the midst of a journey. That notion deeply resonates with me. These paintings are rooted in those quiet, fleeting spaces where feelings rise and recede, and where something meaningful can emerge in the in-between.
Each piece is a kind of map—not of a place, but of a feeling, a movement, or a memory that has lingered just long enough to leave a trace. I’m drawn to that liminal space: where things are not fully formed but still speak, where time feels both suspended and slipping away. These works carry a rhythm that mirrors life’s impermanence—sometimes still, sometimes swelling—and invites us to slow down, reflect, and maybe drift a little.
